How do parents and Prisma coaches communicate?

We view the relationship between Prisma coaches and learners’ parents/families as a partnership! Coaches view connecting with a learner’s family as an opportunity to collaborate and strategize around how to best support each unique learner. By working together, we can co-create the most beneficial possible experience for your child. You’ll have direct contact information for your child’s coach and are invited to reach out any time.

When you join Prisma, you and your child will meet with their coach to get to know one another and set goals for your child’s growth. After that, you’ll conference at least every 12 weeks to reflect on your child’s progress. Some coaches and parents meet more regularly than this, and you are welcome to book coach office hours as the need arises.

Parents receive weekly updates on their learner’s progress and have lots of visibility into their work. Prisma coaches also regularly post highlights and updates on Mighty Networks, Prisma’s interactive parent community platform.
