We do not collect inferences drawn from other personal information, sensory data, biometric information, or protected classification characteristics under California or federal law.

We may collect information from students in connection with the delivery of our Service, including information contained in student assignments, activities, and assessments relating to our Service. As part of the online teaching and learning experience, some of our Service may enable students to carry out assessments, write texts, and create and upload images, video, and audio recordings. Some aspects of our Service may enable educators to provide scores, written comments, or other feedback about student responses or student performance. Our Service may also generate information on student progress and results, including in relation to assignments and assessments.

Prisma will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. You have the right to request and obtain from Prisma information regarding the disclosure of the following: (1) The categories of Personal Data collected, (2) The sources from which the Personal Data was collected, (3) The business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling the Personal Data, (4) Categories of third parties with whom we share Personal Data, (5) The specific pieces of Personal Data we collected about you.
  • The right to delete Personal Data. You also have the right to request the deletion of your Personal Data that have been collected in the past 12 months.
  • The right not to be discriminated against. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of your consumer rights, including by: (1) Denying goods or services to you, (2) Charging different prices or rates for goods or services, including the use of discounts or other benefits or imposing penalties, (3) Providing a different level or quality of goods or services to you, (4) Suggesting that you will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

Prisma will disclose and deliver the required information free of charge within 45 days of receiving your verifiable request. The time period to provide the required information may be extended once by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary and with prior notice.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

We do not sell personal information. However, the service providers we partner with (for example, our advertising partners) may use technology on the Service that "sells" or “shares” personal information as defined by CCPA.

If you wish to opt out of the use of your personal information for interest-based advertising purposes and these potential sales as defined under CCPA law, you may do so by following the instructions below.

"Do Not Track" Policy as Required by California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)

Our Service does not respond to Do Not Track signals.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is currently designed for use by students. We understand that student users of the Service who are under 13 years of age require special privacy protection under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). 

When a Service account is created for a student, we collect their information in compliance with applicable laws, including by seeking the consent of a parent or legal guardian for creation of that account through our COPPA Parental Consent Form. Upon enrollment, we require each student’s parent or legal guardian to complete a COPPA Parental Consent Form. We endeavor to only maintain information from children under the age of 13 who are students, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13 who are not students or prospective students.
