The traditional school system was designed over 100 years ago to prepare kids for a world that no longer exists. In most schools, kids are still rewarded for checking boxes, getting the right answer, and following instructions. Whereas, in the real world, success comes from forging your own path and tackling complex problems without clear answers. School should foster creativity, critical thinking, and challenge kids to grow the skills they'll need to thrive.

Prisma was built by a team of tech entrepreneurs, educators, and parents who were bold enough to believe a better way of preparing our kids for the future was possible. Today, we’re a community of hundreds of families around the world doing school differently.

From STEM Extravaganza to Prisma Parliament, learners also have a wide variety of extracurricular and leadership opportunities. And Prisma isn’t just for learners. Parents get connect through interest-based Circles and Book Clubs, and families frequently get together for regional meet ups and family-led trips.

Each coach is an experienced educator with superpowers in building relationships with kids. We redesigned school for the world of tomorrow with the goal of preparing kids for real life.
At Prisma, real-world skills development, executive functioning, and social-emotional growth are prioritized alongside rigorous academics. And, while we aren't big on conventional testing, Prismarians, on average, grow 158% in Reading and 164% in Math each year (compared to traditionally schooled peers per NWEA MAP Growth assessment).
Prisma high schoolers graduate with an accredited US diploma and transcript that is recognized internationally.

Around 40% of Prisma learners receive a scholarship. The Prisma Scholarship Fund gives out more than $150,000 in scholarships each year and enables learners who otherwise wouldn't be able to join Prisma to enroll in the full program for as little as $650 per month.
