In order to participate in Prisma, learners need a strong internet connection and consistent access to a laptop or desktop computer (not a tablet) with a camera and a microphone designated for the learner's daytime use. Mac and Windows operating systems are both great! We just recommend an internet speed of at minimum 25 mbps and that your child's device has at least 8 GB of RAM so they don't experience technical challenges navigating live workshops or digital learning tools. We also strongly recommend learners have access to a quiet and private learning space that’s free from distraction.
If any materials are needed for a project-focused workshop, you'll have plenty of advance notice, and the supplies are simple (easily obtained from a local grocery store or already in your house). We don't utilize physical textbooks, and all Prisma curriculum is delivered and accessed virtually.
