What if we need to withdraw from Prisma?

While the vast majority of learners continue to learn and thrive with Prisma year after year, if at any point you feel Prisma is no longer the best fit for your child you can withdraw them by giving a 30-day notice. We don’t want families to feel stuck, so we don’t employ the continuous enrollment or year-long sunk cost enrollment policies that lots of other online schools utilize. We’d simply close out your child’s account and apply a prorated refund, when applicable. We’d also give you ongoing access to your child’s learner portfolio site and would send your child’s transcript and records to their new school upon request.

Back when Prisma didn’t yet offer high school, learners who had to leave after 8th grade easily transferred into elite private schools, progressive local charters, and a variety of top-tier programs.

If your child isn’t among the 94% of Prisma high schoolers who choose to reenroll each year, our high school transcript includes courses, credits, GPA, and everything top high schools want to see to accept your child as a transfer student and award transfer credits for their Prisma coursework.
